They serve to make our offer more user-friendly, more efficient and more secure. In addition, cookies enable our systems to recognize your browser and to offer you services. Use of the remarketing function or "similar target groups" of Google Inc.
The provider uses the remarketing or "similar target groups" function of Google Inc. ("Google"). Through this feature, the Provider can target website visitors with advertising by displaying personalized advertisements related to the interests of the Provider's website visitors when they visit other websites in the Google Display Network. To perform the analysis of website usage, which forms the basis for the creation of interest-based advertisements, Google uses cookies. For this purpose, Google saves a small file containing a sequence of numbers in the browser of visitors to the site. This number is used to record visits to the website as well as anonymous data about the use of the website. No personal data of site visitors is recorded. If you then visit another website in the Google Display Network, you will be shown advertisements that are likely to take into account the previously viewed product and information areas.
You can permanently disable Google's use of cookies by following the link below and downloading and installing the plug-in provided there:
https://www.google.com/settings/ads/plugin?hl=de

You can also opt out of the use of cookies by third-party vendors by visiting the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page at http://www.networkadvertising.org/choices/ and implementing the additional opt-out information provided there.
More information about Google Remarketing and Google's privacy policy can be found at http://www.google.com/privacy/ads/.

Use of ExactTarget's remarketing function
We use the remarketing feature of the email service provider ExactTarget, Inc. 20 North Meridian Street Suite 200 Indianapolis, Indiana 46204 USA ("ExactTarget"). If you have consented to receive our newsletter and visit our site via a newsletter, cookies are used. This allows us to track the effectiveness of our newsletters, for example whether you opened an e-mail or which part of the newsletter was particularly interesting.

ExactTarget also uses web beacons in the majority of e-mails sent by ExactTarget. Web beacons (also called clearGIFs or tracking pixels) are small graphics (GIF files of about 1x1) that are used on websites or in HTML e-mails, among other things, to help website operators better understand how visitors interact with the website. Web beacons perform similar functions to cookies, but are not perceptible to the user. In particular, web beacons can be used to determine whether e-mail has been opened and whether the user's system is capable of receiving HTML e-mail. No personal data is collected through the web beacon.

If you do not wish to receive e-mail communications using web beacons, you can choose to receive your e-mails in text format (not HTML). Web beacons are used in conjunction with cookies. You can therefore prevent the use of web beacons by preventing the installation of cookies through a corresponding setting in your browser software. However, we would like to point out that in this case you may not be able to fully use all the functions of our website.

You can find out how to manage (including disabling) cookies in the main browsers by clicking on the links below:

Use of Facebook Remarketing
The Provider uses the remarketing feature "Custom Audiences" from Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook") on the Website. Through this feature, the Provider can target website visitors with advertising by displaying personalized Facebook ads related to website visitors' interests when they visit the Facebook social network. To perform this function, the Facebook Remarketing Tag is implemented on the Provider's website.

This tag establishes a direct connection to the Facebook servers when you visit the website. It sends the Facebook server the pages of our website that you have visited. Facebook attributes this information to your personal Facebook user account. For more information about Facebook's data collection and use, your rights in this regard, and your privacy options, please see Facebook's privacy policy at https://www.facebook.com/about/privacy/ . If you do not want Facebook to assign the information collected directly to your Facebook user account, you can disable the "Custom Audiences" remarketing feature here. To do so, you must be logged in to Facebook.

Use of Google Adwords conversion tracking
We use the online advertising program "Google AdWords" and, within the framework of Google AdWords, conversion tracking. Google Conversion Tracking is an analysis service provided by Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google").
When you click on an ad placed by Google, a conversion tracking cookie is stored on your computer. These cookies have a limited validity, do not contain any personal data and are therefore not used for personal identification.
If you visit certain web pages on our site and the cookie has not yet expired, Google and we can recognize that you have clicked on the ad and have been redirected to that page.
Each Google AdWords client receives a different cookie. Therefore, it is not possible to track cookies across all AdWords client websites.
The information from the conversion cookie is used to create conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted-in to conversion tracking. In this case, customers learn the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, they do not receive any information that can be used to personally identify users.
If you do not wish to participate in tracking, you may opt out of this use by preventing the installation of cookies through a setting in your browser software (opt-out). You will then not be included in the conversion tracking statistics.
You can find more information and Google's privacy policy at http://www.google.de/policies/privacy/.

Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website is generally transmitted to a Google server in the United States and stored there. However, if IP anonymization is activated on this website, your IP address will first be truncated by Google in the Member States of the European Union or in other Contracting States of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser, however please note that in this case you may not be able to use the full functionality of this website. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) from Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link [http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de].

Use of Facebook plug-ins
These web pages use plug-ins of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Inc, 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA ("Facebook").
When you call up web pages on our website that are provided with such a plug-in, a connection is established with the Facebook servers and the plug-in is displayed on the web page informing your browser. The browser sends the web pages you have visited to the Facebook server. If you are logged in as a Facebook member, Facebook assigns this information to your personal Facebook user account. When you use the functions of the plug-in (e.g., by clicking the "Like" button, posting a comment), this information is also assigned to your Facebook account, which you can only prevent by logging out before using the plug-in.
If you do not want Facebook to assign the collected information directly to your Facebook profile, you must either log out of Facebook before visiting our site or block the loading of Facebook plug-ins on our websites by using a "Facebook blocker.
